Students Smackdown Principal, Face Charges

In what looked like a scene from a WWE Raw episode, a high school principal was slammed to the ground by a student in a lunchtime brawl. Principal Don Ross of Florin High School in Sacramento rose back up and continued to restrain students in the fight.

Three students were arrested — a 13-year-old and two 15-year-olds, according to Sacramento County Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Tony Turnbull. Two of the students face charges of suspicion of battery on school staff causing injury and the third for making threats toward other students and law enforcement.

As is now the norm for school fights, the entire event was caught on multiple cellphone cameras and then posted to YouTube.

“It is a bit disappointing to us that students chose to video it and post it online,” said Elk Grove Unified School District spokeswoman Xanthi Pinkerton. “We try to teach our students to not just stand by and watch. Discourage it and walk away or talk to a school official.”

The only thing missing from this edition of WrestleMania Florin High was Steve Austin yelling "If you want me to body slam the principal, gimmie a 'hell yeah!'"
