Fremont Unified Superintendent Dr. Kim Wallace Resigns

Fremont Unified Superintendent Dr. Kim Wallace has resigned, according to NBC News. She notified the school board at a special meeting on Friday

No reason was stated for Wallace’s decision. NBC reports she will stay on through June when her contract expires. Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Dr. Raul Zamora, will act as an interim replacement.

Wallace has been with FUSD for several years and has served as superintendent since 2017.
