Los Angeles Unified Names Teachers of the Year

The state’s largest school district has named 22 Teachers of the Year for 2020-2021. The awards come at a time of unprecedented change and challenges for educators.

The recipients include elementary school teachers, middle school teachers, high school teachers, and special needs educators. According to the district, five of the teachers will also go on to compete for the Los Angeles County Office of Education’s Teacher of the Year.
