CSU Moves Fall Classes Online
The California State University system has announced that it will move almost all of its fall classes online. There will be exceptions for courses that cannot be held in a virtual setting, such as biology labs or merchant marine training.
The announcement is notable. Cal State is the largest university system in the country.
The decision was made to protect the health and wellbeing of students, said Chancellor Timothy White. The university system does not have the ability to regularly test its nearly 500,000 students and more than 26,000 faculty members.
