University of San Diego Offers New Online Certificates in Marijuana Medicine, Policy and Law

Are you looking to forge a career in the medicinal cannabis field or in cannabis policy? It’s never been easier, thanks to a new partnership between the University of San Diego and online marijuana education company Green Flower.

Starting in January, USD will offer online certificates in Cannabis Healthcare and Medicine, as well as Cannabis Law and Policy, using the Green Flower program. The classes cost $2,950 and take six months to complete. The University will also help students find employment once they finish the program.

These certificates can produce jobs in a lot of different areas across a lot of different industries,” Dr. Andy Drotos, Director of Professional Public Programs at USD, told ABC 10.

Daniel Kalef, Executive VP of Higher Education at Green Flower, said the certificate “puts you in a position where companies will hire you in a heartbeat.”
