African American Dolls Hung by Nooses at Three Saratoga Schools

The Saratoga Union School District is asking for tips about a possible hate crime that occurred at three Saratoga schools.

An investigation was launched after African American dolls were found hanging from nooses in trees at Prospect High School, Saratoga High School and Redwood Middle School.

"Hate has no place in Santa Clara County," Acting Sheriff Ken Binder said Wednesday in response to the display. "The Sheriff's Office will thoroughly investigate these incidents and request prosecution of the offenders to the fullest extent of the law."

The school district believes the dolls were strung up over the weekend. They have released images of the suspects, which you can see here
