Supt. Tony Thurmond Coasts to Re-Election

Thurmond was backed by California’s Democratic Party, the California Federation of Teachers, and the California Teachers Association.

Even with pandemic school closures and numerous controversies at the California Department of Education, Christensen always had a steep uphill battle in the very blue Golden State.
