Culver City Unified Hires Interim Superintendent
The Culver City Unified School District named an interim superintendent on Aug. 24, one week after the abrupt resignation of Quoc Tran.
The board’s choice, Dr. Steven Keller, most recently served as Superintendent of Schools for the Redondo Beach Unified School District. He retired from the role on January 1 after more than 16 years. He has over 36 years of experience in public education, according to CCUSD.
A national search for a permanent superintendent is underway. CCUSD will gather input from the community before making a selection.
Culver City students headed back to school from summer break last Wednesday, Aug. 23.
