
South Whittier School District Receives the STOP School Violence Program Grant for $997,260

Congratulations to the South Whittier School District for receiving the STOP School Violence Program Grant in the amount of $997,260 from the Bureau of Justice Assistance.
These monies are being used to provide funding to support and assist county, local, territorial, and tribal jurisdictions in improving efforts to reduce violent crime in and around schools. In addition, it provides funding for tip hotline, school psychologist, behavioral aides, and Zones of Regulation curriculum.
