California College Robotics Club Wins International Award

A Santa Cruz County college robotics team has been awarded first place in the international Marine Advanced Technology Education World Championships. 

For the contest, the Cabrillo Robotics Club built a Remotely Operated Vehicle capable of completing a series of tasks in aquatic environments. The process took nearly a year.

The contest was held in Kingsport, Tennessee over a period of two days. There were 29 competing teams from 10 different countries.
