Another atmospheric river storm hit the state this week, downing power lines and flooding towns. According to the California Department of Education, 178 schools were forced to close.
The district currently spends $600,000 each year for power.
The results were supposed to be released earlier this week.
About 10,000 students from 12 different campuses were able to view the eclipse.

In February, 51 school districts and two charter schools applied for up to 295 electric school buses.
